Logo for the Botanical Garden in Guatemala City as Graphic Design grade graduation project. Designed in 2008 for the Centro de Estudios Conservacionistas of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Chemical Sciences, at San Carlos University who manages the garden.
Pacaya is a palm widely spread in the American continent, used as ingredient or main dish. Its leaf ending in a bifurcation is a unique feature that can be only found in Mexico and Central America. In Guatemala even a volcano is named after this plant.
